First: stay clear of lines

If any part of the tree is touching a power line, treat the whole tree and the ground around it as live. Call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000 before anyone goes near it. No tree company should touch it until the line is cleared.

Then get out from under it

A tree resting on a structure is holding load. It can shift when the weather changes or when someone leans on it. Keep people out of the rooms underneath it until it is stabilized.

What we do when we arrive

Call us and we get back to you within 30 minutes. Storm work does not keep office hours, so the emergency line is answered outside 8 to 5 as well. On site, we work out what is holding what, cut in an order that releases the load safely, and get the weight off the structure first.

For your insurance claim

We photograph the job as we work. Those photos and a written scope help your claim, and we can send them to you afterwards.
